Agricultural Product Processing Plant

 

The expansion and modernization of this food production company has been made possible through the European Union Initiative “LEADER +”.

With the assistance of the program, the mechanical and other equipment of the company was modernized and a system of quality assurance (HACCP & ISO) was installed.

 

The company is housed in a modern factory of 2,500 m². in a privately owned area of 20.000 m2.

On the company’s premises which are equipped with modern machinery, traditional, crisp and tasty pickles and olives are getting packaged based on traditional recipes.

 

The vegetables used are produced by a group of local farmers with the guidance and continuous monitoring, at all stages, of the scientific team of the company.

For vegetable processing and standardization of finished products, all security measures are taken on the basis of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) system. Also, the company has installed an ISO 9001: 2000 quality assurance system and has been certified according to ELOT 14000 and aCert (Organic Products Certification).

 

All the controls of raw materials and finished products are made in the unit's organized chemistry lab.

The company was awarded in 2002 by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kozani for the quality of its products.

12. “Myzithra” cheese pasteurized

14. Red bell peppers stuffed with a mixture of cheese in sunflower oil

All products of the company are prepared based on traditional local recipes. The blend of filling includes, among others, Greek sheep's white cheese as well as a mixture of traditional herbs.
